Swine flu vaccine trials underway in Australia
Vaxine and CSL have started human trials this week, but it could take at least 6 weeks before the initial results are known.
Vaxine, who are based in Adelaide Australia, began trials on 300 people on Monday, and Melbourne-based CSL have 240 people in it's trial, which started on Wednesday. The UK are expecting the first batch of vaccine by the end of August, but neither Vaxine or CSL have contracts with the UK government.Neither firm has a contract with the UK government, which expects the first vaccine batches by the end of August.

- High temperature, tiredness and lowered immunity
- Headache, runny nose and sneezing
