Guards for Tamiflu at London's first swine flu centre

Health bosses are refusing to say where London's first tamiflu distribution centre is in an attempt to avoid the centre being overrun.

Only patients diagnosed with the virus are being given the location of the distribution centre. The locations of the other centres that are yet to open will also be kept secret to ensure staff are not attacked by panicking patients and to prevent thefts.

Accusations have also been made that the NHS is issuing conflicting advice on the dangers of swine flu for pregnant women. While the Royal College of Midwives said that pregnant women should avoid crowds and unnecessary travel, the National Childbirth Trust have advised that women should delay getting pregnant completely.
